Lloyds TSB is the official banking and insurance partner of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and partner of Team GB and ParalympicsGB. The Bank aims to bring the Games and Team GB and ParalympicsGB closer to communities the length and breadth of the country to inspire and support businesses, communities and young people across the UK.

Community is at the heart of Lloyds TSB’s partnership with the London 2012 Games. They have branches on nearly every high street across the UK and are in a unique position to share the excitement and bring the inspiration of the Games closer to communities.

As the National Presenting Partner for the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, Lloyds TSB is helping take the Olympic Flame to all corners of the UK. The Bank is providing the unique opportunity for inspirational members of local businesses and communities across the UK to carry the Olympic Flame and has been encouraging members of the public to nominate Torchbearers who have made a difference in their local community.

Lloyds TSB is also focused on helping businesses maximise the opportunities and prepare for the Games in order to ensure a lasting legacy for UK businesses. In the run up to London 2012, Lloyds TSB has been supporting businesses of all sizes across the UK. From hosting seminars and identifying opportunities to support tender processes and funding expansion plans, Lloyds TSB has ensured that, for business, the London 2012 Games are open to all. This support will, of course, continue after the 2012 Games.

To date, one in every three companies that have won a London 2012 contract has a relationship with Lloyds Banking Group.
